For many years, I only did in person BaZi Classes. And frankly, as a instructor, in-person classes were a pain. It was an endless endeavour of finding enough people to make up the class, and then finding a way to make sure that it wasn’t a brain overload for them (BaZi is a difficult topic – make no mistake). And then trying to ensure that there was enough practical application sessions in addition to the theory and conceptual information. Of course, they have positives. In person classes have an energy that drives the learning process. BaZi is an interactive subject not a passive one and participation, Q&A and learning how to analyse a chart together is crucial. And there’s nothing like the Socratic method when it comes to learning BaZi.

But accessibility was always a problem. If you were a student of Metaphysics or BaZi living in the Western hemisphere, you had to either make a cross planet trek to learn in the East or you had to wait till a subject matter expert turned up on your distant shores. It was costly, and for many students, learning a difficult subject whilst battling jet lag is no joke. I would say only 25% of what happens in the class probably actually goes in, provided you are alert enough to ask questions (whilst fighting with other students for that access).

In the distant past, my answer to this was videoing my classes and then engaging in a complex exercise of sending it to people on thumb drives. Which as someone pointed out, they sometimes lost or forgot where the data went.

The pandemic changed all that. I conducted my first Zoom class in 2020, and my first Zoom Annual Seminar presentation in 2020. And that in my view is the way forward. BaZiQueen seminars will continue to be done via Zoom and you can attend these if the time zone suits you or you would like a class where you can participate. If you prefer a more passive, introverted approach, the classes will be available on Gumroad, either as a one time download, or a rental system. The advantage of this content management system is that I will continue to add and improve the classes with new information or material as I go along, adding to the information out there on this captivating subject.
