The Enemy of the Tiger…

…is the Monkey.

I’m writing just a very short post on this topic because the year is practically over and so it would seem writing this at this point is not terribly useful to anyone really. But since someone commented that I was supposed to have wrote about who would be most affected in 2010 (and I forgot), I’m attempting to cover my bases.

Typically in a given year, BaZi consultants will always see a certain trend permeating in terms of the types of charts turn up in consultation rooms. This trend is dictated by the Annual Pillar, which in 2010, is Geng Yin 庚 ε―….

The most obvious candidates for problems in 2010 are

  • Anyone born in the year of the monkey OR month of August or sits on Monkey (Shen) in their chart (cf: Kevin Rudd)
  • Jia Wood Day Master will also to a large degree be affected by the year because Geng appears on the Stem and Jia is most immediately affected by Geng’s appearance since Jia x Geng is a Stem Clash.
  • Those whose Day Pillar is Geng Yin of course, will also feel the effects of the year significantly since it will be a Fu Yin.
  • Those whose Day Pillar is Jia Shen will also feel the effects of the year significantly since they are affected by a Fan Yin, which is usually MORE disruptive than a Fu Yin.

The most obvious problem faced by any of these individuals is INCREASED RISK OF CAR ACCIDENTS.

This is because Jia x Shen is known as a Horse Carriage Disaster Clash. Injuries involving the lower limbs (sprained ankles, bad hips, foot injuries) are extremely likely, although the Jia Day Masters have to be careful of being hit in the head since Jia = Head.

Charts which contain Hai (Pig) may also see some effects this year as well because Pig + Tiger = Combination Destruction. So lots of stops and starts and frustrated moments this year potentially.

Change that is brought about as a result of the Tiger x Monkey is almost always sudden, unexpected and decisively awful. This is because it invariably involves two very rock solid elements – Jia and Geng going up against each other. Clash of the Titans totally.

I am a new learner in Bazi and found your views on the ” Enemy of the Tiger” in August 10 most appropriate for Jia people.

My wife and me visited Istanbul just few days ago and on the day of return , 17 Sept to Singapore, my wife got her ankle sprained at about 12pm while shopping in the hilly shopping area, this is due to the uneven road in Istanbul where row of shops clustered on hilly road and make fall injury potentially probable. She was momentarily blacked out and have to bear the next 12 hours of pain before the return flight to Singapore.

What is even more amazing is that in Istanbul airport on the European side there is a Turkish therapist inside the airport after clearing immigration, this Turkish gentleman thought could not understand English is able to provide treatment past midnight, (it is unlikely that one can find a sinseh even in Singapore at midnight.)The shop name is incidentally called Tuina and displayed the Ying Yang symbol.

My wife immediately went to seek treatment and somehow the therapist alleviate the unbearable pain of 12 hours she had been bear before the return flight back to Singapore.

With your insight into Bazi reading, may I know as to what causes the lower limb or injury of the ankle to happen in Jia Dog DM people? Can it be due to the hour or the day clashed?

    Regards,

@TL Ong – depends on whether your wife’s chart has a Tiger Branch or not. September is Rooster month – this affects the Dog.

What’s Geng Yin? I am a Xin Metal Day Master and I came very close to having a car accident in October 2010. The funny thing is there were 3 people in the car, two Xin Metal Day Master(the other one was the driver) and one Geng Metal Day Master who was sitting next to de driver.

PS. Would you say that 2011 is a bad year for Roosters, then? I was born in the month of the Fire Rabbit, hour of the Fire Rooster…does that mean I cannot progress in career this year?

Generic interpretations are not possible for charts. I keep saying this to students/people/readers. Every chart requires its own interpretation.
